Please join us Wednesday, March 20, at 5:30 p.m. for our Journey to Holy Week service. This service invites children to follow in Jesus’ footsteps through the final days of his life. We’ll begin with the celebration of Palm Sunday, which will even include a live donkey! Then we will move through the events of Holy Thursday, taking part in the ritual of foot-washing and remembering the last meal Jesus shared with his friends. We will remember the final days of Jesus’ life with prayers and song and the service will end with the promise of Easter resurrection. This will be a 45-minute service, and pizza will be served afterwards (suggested $5 donation at the door).
Pit Stop provides a space where parents can stop and reflect on how we can help our children develop through communication and connection with their family and faith. Classes are offered periodically with a different guest speaker, target age group, and focus or theme.
Our next Pit Stop for Parents will take place Sunday, March 10, from 10:10-10:50 a.m. in the All Saints’ Room (128), and led by Lizzie Elder, MSW, LCSW, therapist for women with Vitality Counseling Services.
At this session, we will explore the intricacies of the adolescent brain from a neuroscience perspective and come away with a better understanding and equip parents with tools to help feel confident and empowered to connect with your tween/teen.
What began in the basement of Christ Church almost fifty years ago has now become a crucial source of emergency groceries for people facing food insecurity in Wake County. In 2023, Wake Relief served over 7,500 people – more than twice as many as the previous year. Our goal is to fully stock our shelves in order to meet this incredible surge in demand.
You may donate in three ways:
We are incredibly grateful for your efforts to help Wake Relief serve those in our community who live in hunger or fear of insufficient food!

Christ Church is our meeting place with God, a school for shaping character for our children and youth, a home where we celebrate and renew our faith again and again, and an encouragement to awaken to the abundant life Jesus came to bring.
Our goals for children of Christ Church, from birth through 5th grade, are to understand that they are known and loved by God and their church family, and that they belong to God’s family and the family of Christ Church.

Our mission is to create a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated, so that no one walks alone at Christ Church. The Pastoral Care ministries, with more than 200 volunteers, reach out with God’s love to fellow parishioners experiencing trials, troubles and even just ordinary life to promote and facilitate a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated. To learn more about our Pastoral Care offerings and how you can get involved or receive care, contact Margaret Quigley via email@example.com.
This ministry is specifically designed to serve parishioners who are 60 and older and those who care for and love them. Our mission is to support Senior members of Christ Church as we transition into later seasons of life.
