He will discuss his recent book, Faith, Race, and the Lost Cause: Confessions of a Southern Church, which recounts his own parish’s journey of grappling with its racial history. He will also elaborate on some larger themes in that history that often create greater stumbling blocks to a more accurate view of the past. Registration is required. Please register via this link or call Anderson Davis at (919) 834-6259.

Christ Church is our meeting place with God, a school for shaping character for our children and youth, a home where we celebrate and renew our faith again and again, and an encouragement to awaken to the abundant life Jesus came to bring.
Our goals for children of Christ Church, from birth through 5th grade, are to understand that they are known and loved by God and their church family, and that they belong to God’s family and the family of Christ Church.
The Youth Ministry of Christ Church embraces and supports our youth and their families, inspires and guides their spiritual growth as disciples of Christ, and empowers them to serve the church and the world. To be added to youth emails or for more information, contact Kate Oldham Keenan, Director of Youth Ministry, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Christ Church is a place for all to feel connected and at home. Come, be together, connect and enjoy the fellowship and fun we enjoy together as a Christ Church family.
Our mission is to create a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated, so that no one walks alone at Christ Church. The Pastoral Care ministries, with more than 200 volunteers, reach out with God’s love to fellow parishioners experiencing trials, troubles and even just ordinary life to promote and facilitate a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated. To learn more about our Pastoral Care offerings and how you can get involved or receive care, contact Margaret Quigley via firstname.lastname@example.org.
This ministry is specifically designed to serve parishioners who are 60 and older and those who care for and love them. Our mission is to support Senior members of Christ Church as we transition into later seasons of life.
