Rector Search: Opportunities to Participate – Oct. 22 & Nov. 8

Join us for one of two opportunities to participate in the rector search process: Dinner & Discussion with the Diocese on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5:30 p.m., or Lunch & Listening with the Diocese on Sunday, Nov. 8, following the 11 a.m. service. Both gatherings will feature leaders from the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina and members of the Rector Search Committee, who will share more about the search process and answer questions from parishioners. The gatherings will cover the same topics, so please plan to attend whichever works best for you. Childcare will be provided. Please RSVP or find more information about both opportunities at this link.

Stewardship 2027 – “In Every Season”

As we kick-off this year’s Stewardship campaign, we ask that you please consider what Christ Church means to you and your family, and keep our parish in mind as a philanthropic priority. All pledges received by All Saints’ Sunday (Nov. 1) will be brought forward to be blessed on the altar. Make your pledge online via this link, or return your pledge card by mail/place it in the offering plate on Sunday morning.

Children

Our goals for children of Christ Church, from birth through 5th grade, are to understand that they are known and loved by God and their church family, and that they belong to God’s family and the family of Christ Church.

Parish Life

Christ Church is a place for all to feel connected and at home. Come, be together, connect and enjoy the fellowship and fun we enjoy together as a Christ Church family.

Pastoral Care

Our mission is to create a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated, so that no one walks alone at Christ Church. The Pastoral Care ministries, with more than 200 volunteers, reach out with God’s love to fellow parishioners experiencing trials, troubles and even just ordinary life to promote and facilitate a community in which the joys and sorrows of life are honored and consecrated. To learn more about our Pastoral Care offerings and how you can get involved or receive care, contact Margaret Quigley via mquigley@ccral.org.

Senior Adults

This ministry is specifically designed to serve parishioners who are 60 and older and those who care for and love them. Our mission is to support Senior members of Christ Church as we transition into later seasons of life.
