New Book Group: Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption

Join us Wednesdays through May 31, from 6-7:30 p.m., in the Parish Hall for a new book group led by Stacy Arch and Jina Propst. Author Bryan Stevenson brilliantly writes about Walter McMillian’s journey from death row to freedom in Just Mercy.  Join us as we read this powerful true story about the importance of confronting injustice. Through Bryan’s eyes, we see how those who have been wrongly convicted of crimes, poor prisoners without effective representation, and others who may have been denied a fair trial end up incarcerated. We are also introduced to the work of the Equal Justice Initiative and how it is helping heal. All are welcome to attend one, some, or all of the meetings! Please email Jina Propst at or Stacy Arch at to join the group!
