Through Our Eyes - Raleigh, a powerful photography project supported by Christ Church, that will put cameras in the hands of 100 of our neighbors experiencing homelessness or home insecurity. Each photographer will have one week to capture their lives, to tell their story through images. They will control their own message. They will decide how they want their lives to be seen by their community.
Our mission in this project is three-fold:
- SPIRITUAL providing hope for those who are hurting.
- EMOTIONAL provide joy in creating art.
- PHYSICAL provide awareness & support. We want communities to engage with different groups of people, learn how to love them and support organizations who serve them.
On Nov. 4, a selection of these images will be exhibited at CAM with special viewing and fundraising opportunities. Contact Tyler Cunningham if you would like to learn more about this project - firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations will be gratefully accepted through our TEXT to GIVE program. Donors can text 73256 and respond to the prompt with CCRAL EYES [insert amount]. All donations will be received by Christ Church and 100 percent of the proceeds will be distributed to our community partners - Oak City Outreach Center, Love Wins Community Engagement Center, and Pullen Memorial Baptist Church's Round Table Fellowship - to help them better serve the homeless in our community.
