Lunch & Learn is a mid-day event created for fellowship and learning for our parishioners. We provide a variety of programs, both secular and religious, and both on campus and off-campus.
Join us Wednesday, Nov. 4 at noon for Lunch & Learn with Raleigh historian & archivist Ian Dunn and architectural historian & parishioner Mary Ruffin Hanbury, as they discuss their new book Lost Raleigh. The book provides a broad overview of local landmarks that have been destroyed over the years, accompanied by historic images. Not merely a nostalgic glimpse at the past, the book also makes a strong argument for the continuing stewardship of the city’s built environment. To help offset the cost of lunch, we are asking for a donation of $10. Please sign up via this link to let us know you’ll attend. Please note, copies of the book will NOT be sold at the event, but already-purchased books can be signed afterwards.
