All men of Christ Church are invited to a fellowship gathering on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 4:30-6 p.m in the parish hall. We will enjoy appetizers, beverages, and informal conversation. David Frazelle will introduce themes in men’s spirituality, and we will hear two speakers share stories about one of those themes. Cost to register is $15. Sign up via this link. Christ Church Connect is the church’s newcomer workshop. Our next Connect Class will be Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. in the All Saints’ Room (Rm. 128). It’s a wonderful introduction to the church, our ministries, and all we have to offer. Childcare and lunch will be provided. Attendees will be able to meet members of our clergy, hear from staff members, and tour the church. To sign up, please visit this link.

Join us for a casual pizza dinner on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. after Cherub Choir (on days when there isn’t a parish supper). Whether your child is in the choir or not, all are welcome to come enjoy pizza and fellowship. If you plan to join us, please RSVP via this link. Lunch & Learn is a mid-day event created for fellowship and learning for our parishioners. We provide a variety of programs, both secular and religious, and both on campus and off-campus.

Join us Wednesday, Nov. 4 at noon for Lunch & Learn with Raleigh historian & archivist Ian Dunn and architectural historian & parishioner Mary Ruffin Hanbury, as they discuss their new book Lost Raleigh. The book provides a broad overview of local landmarks that have been destroyed over the years, accompanied by historic images. Not merely a nostalgic glimpse at the past, the book also makes a strong argument for the continuing stewardship of the city’s built environment.  To help offset the cost of lunch, we are asking for a donation of $10. Join us after work for drinks and fellowship with the men of Christ Church. Usually, we have two events during the year – a fall get-together and another one in the spring. In the fall, we gather at Milburnie Fishing Club for dinner and to catch up with one another. In the spring, we will meet at a local establishment for fellowship. Check our calendar for event dates.

Foyers is a unique opportunity to get to know other in members in our church in a smaller group for meals at member’s homes.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW) provides support and fellowship opportunities within our parish and hosts annual and biennial events and fundraisers. All women are automatically members of ECW and are encouraged to participate! Christ Church ECW is comprised of vibrant women of many talents, and there are many opportunities to become involved.

As our children grow up, life only begins to move faster. In the midst of school and activities, we can often miss the experience of faith development and a deeper understanding of relationship in the family. The hope is to allow a space where parents can stop and reflect on how we can help our children develop through communication and connection with their family and faith. Classes are offered periodically with a different guest speaker, target age group, and focus or theme.
